UAE based developers, Al Futtaim Group Real Estate, recently invited BKA to develop a masterplan and concept design for a gated residential community in Cairo Festival City, Egypt. BKA's solution for the site achieved 500 apartments within twenty-three 4 to 7 storey towers, with each apartment enjoying views towards dense parkland. Environmentally sustainable design principles including external shading, thermal mass, abundant natural light and ventilation combined to provide the highest level of apartment living. The project will make a vibrant and responsible addition to the city.
