Waverley Child Care Centre, NSW, Australia: BKA were selected by Waverley Council for the design of their new child care centre in Bondi Junction. With an estimated value of 3.5 million dollars, the three level centre will cater for up to 56 children. BKA have adopted a "child's eye view" to the design approach, with colour, scale, sill heights and spatial experiences carefully considered from an infant's viewpoint.

Gumnut Child Care Centre, Macquarie University, NSW, Australia: Macquarie University have engaged BKA as one of two firms selected to provide a concept design for their new on-campus child care facility. The design of the building invites children to create, invent and explore. A series of finger like play areas facilitate intimate learning groups whilst capturing cool breezes to a central multi purpose space, complete with a stage for different activities.
