Construction well underway for two significant education projects in Sydney

Work on our new Arts and Performance Building for a private Sydney school, has the piling almost complete and the excavation of the basement starting.

The building is BKA’s, 7th major project for the school and once completed the $8M building will house a state of the art theatre performance space, a yoga room, art teaching spaces and an additional eight classrooms.

The project is due for completion in February 2015.

The new Anatomy Facility for the University of Western Sydney is also advancing with excavation nearing is final stage and the adjacent building securely underpinned in place, whilst work around it progresses.

The project has a budget of $8M and will house new science laboratory areas, the campus Uni Clinic and consulting rooms as well as three new anatomy laboratories. This project is due for completion at the end of October this year.

Both projects are on time and budget and as these new buildings take form BKA are on site regularly and working with the builders to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery.
