BKA architecture announces the appointment of two new associates

We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new associates at BKA, Tanya Awadallah and David Laybourn.

David has for over 25 years been practising architecture in the UK and Australia and has a comprehensive all round experience of the profession. While at BKA, David has managed several key projects both in Education and residential developments including a building for the Emanuel School containing art and drama facilities.

Tanya has been with BKA architecture for more than 8 years and is involved with a diverse range of management and marketing activities in the studio as well as being project leader on various residential and commercial projects. She masters designing for Early Education facilities and passionately creates innovative spaces for the growth of our next generation.

This brings the number of associates at BKA to six, with a majority of women at four- all balancing the care of children with a career in architecture.
